Job Description

JVP Workforce Ltd. is hiring 15 workers at a wage rate of $18 per hour for 40 hours per week. The employer will assist with affordable housing and cover transportation costs.

Job duties:

• Apply fertilizers and perform hoeing between rows to maintain crop cleanliness and health
• Remove brush, wood, stones, and debris from fields and work areas
• Harvest agricultural crops and seeds according to farm quality standards
• Sort freshly harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable categories
• Clean greenhouse areas and guide plant shoots to support optimal growth
• Hand-harvest vegetables and seedlings with care and precision
• Level soil to meet fine grading specifications for planting or irrigation
• Mix and apply fertilizers and sprays as required for crop health
• Pack and sort fruits and vegetables based on size, quality, and grade
• Maintain daily records of work progress and field activities
• Harvest and trim horticultural crops following farm procedures

Wage: $18/hr

Hours: 40hrs/week
