Position Details

Position: Construction Cleaner

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time 
Salary: $27.50 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible 
Work locations: Candidates are required to work at various job sites in Lower Mainland area (BC)

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding 

Job duties

• Collection and removal of soil, bulky debris, remnants, and other unwanted materials from construction sites. 
• Cleaning construction area in accordance with construction site safety regulations and guidelines.
• Keeping the work site neat and organized in anticipation of tomorrow's tasks.
• Wash all indoor surfaces, including windows, walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Cleaning and sweeping the floors when necessary.
• Transfer equipment and other supplies to the appropriate cleansing areas.
• Follow all safety procedures on the worksite.
• Removal of refuse from receptacles such as trash cans and other waste containers.
• Clear the construction site of snow and ice to ensure a safe and productive working environment.

Job requirements

• Completion of secondary school would be considered an asset, but not required.
• Prior work experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
• Functional English Skills
• Exhibit readiness to operate in various environmental conditions, including outdoor and indoor settings, regardless of the prevailing weather patterns.

Note

• If any of the current employee of 777 Construction Ltd. makes a referral that results in to hire, the company will pay $500 referral to that employee. 
• Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1500.00 for qualified candidates.
