Duties:

• Assist in shaping, measuring, and assembling material.
• Deliver or hold materials or tools to help tile installer and, help in other activities.
• Align and straighten tile using levels, squares and straightedges.
• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
• Clean up of job sites.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as cement, and spread mortar.
• Select tools, equipment, and materials from storage and transport items to work site.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed by tile installer.
• Assist in prepare, measure and mark surface to be covered.
• Assist tile installer in laying cover interior and exterior walls, floors and ceilings with ceramic, marble and quarry tile, mosaics or terrazzo.
• Assist to remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
