Home Support Worker Needed – Surrey, BC
I am physically disabled person and I'm looking for a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personalized care and assistance in my home.
Job Details:
• Location: Surrey, BC
• Workplace: On-site (no remote work)
• Salary: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour (negotiable)
• Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
• Employment Type: Full-time, term or contract
• Start Date: As soon as possible
Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Personal Care certificate (Elderly preferred) OR equivalent
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Work Setting: Employer’s home (non-smoking environment)
Responsibilities:
• Assist with personal care (bathing, hygiene, dressing)
• Administer medications as needed
• Support with light exercise (e.g., walks)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Shop for groceries and household supplies
• Mend clothing and linens
Personal Qualities:
• Punctual, reliable, and client-focused
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and honest
• Ability to work under physically demanding conditions
