Salary: $34.62 per hour

Start date: As soon as possible
Work location(s): Candidates are required to work in Surrey, BC, and various other locations in the Lower Mainland (BC) area as per the company’s work contracts with its clients.
Position responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or welding process specifications.
- Take measurements and plan welding layout and procedures.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using various welding processes.
- Weld metal components together for gates, railings, and fences (such as chain link, metal, and aluminum fences) using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
- Operate brazing and soldering equipment.
- Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines.
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws
Position requirements:
- Completion of secondary school.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the trade.
- Ability to communicate in English.
