?Role and context

As a cook, your responsibilities include preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring they meet the dietary needs of all customers. You will also be tasked with preparing special meals. You’ll oversee kitchen operations schedule and supervise kitchen helpers, and maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

18.00 $/h

 ?Working hours

Number of hours and working hours are variable, but always a minimum of 30 hours per week.

 ?Required profile 

• Completion of secondary school is usually required

 ? Tasks 

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare and cook special meals
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• May set up and oversee buffets
• May clean kitchen and work area
• May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Any other related tasks.
