Job Description

As a Jeweller, the following duties must be performed:

• Appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and to detect peculiarity affecting stone values; Examine, cut, shape and polish diamonds and precious and synthetic gems; Fabricate and repair precious and semi-precious metal jewellery; Set precious and semi-precious stones in jewellery mountings

Other requirements:

Language of work: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 years to less than 2 years of relevant experience

Employment Start Date: ASAP

Wage Rate: $ 35.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full – time, (35 hours per week) Permanent employment

Employment Duration: Term of 2 years

Work Location: Burnaby, BC
