Software engineer (NOC 21231)
Position Overview:
Trustedsavvy.com is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Software Developer in Leduc County, Alberta. Working with the Information Systems department, you will be responsible for the development of our core website application as well as supporting the transition of Java based Monolithic applications into Java Spring based microservices architecture. This is a full-time permanent position, working 30 hours per week with opportunities for a hybrid work schedule.
Salary: $46 hourly / 30 hrs per Week

Primary Responsibilities:
- Collect and document user's requirements
- Coordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems
- Develop process and network models to optimize architecture
- Develop software solutions by studying systems flow, data usage and work processes
- Plan every step of the integration of a computer-based system
- Research technical information to design, develop and test computer-based systems
- Lead and co-ordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software and other embedded software control systems
- JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
- Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
- Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
- Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Post-Secondary Education in Computing Science or equivalent (ex. Information Systems Technology, Digital Media and IT)
