Clarks Harbour Seafood Ltd. is looking for a logistics supervisor to join our team.

Languages: English

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 2 – 3 years of experience

Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word

Personal suitability: Accurate, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player

Terms of employment: Permanent position

Job Duties:

  • Establish work schedules and procedures,
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments,
  • Prepare and submit reports,
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work,
  • Resolve work related problems,
  • Recruit and hire staff,
  • Train workers in duties and policies,
  • Conduct performance reviews,
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work,
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies,
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization.

 

Salary: $23/hour

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation

Work Hours: 35 hours per week

Work Location: 58 Water Street, Clark's Harbour, Nova Scotia, Canada, B0W 1P0
