Responsibilities

Tasks

• Monitor and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry animals’ health.
• Set and monitor water lines, airflow, and temperature in pens and chicken coops.
• Perform or assist in performing breeding and grooming activities of farm animals.
• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops based on seasonal schedules and farm requirements.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Examine produce for quality and prepare for market.
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
• Plant, fertilize, spray, and harvest crops.
• Feed and tend livestock and poultry.
• Repair or assist in repairing farm equipment, fences, and structures.
• Maintain quality control standards for livestock, poultry, and crops.
