Job Details:

Title: Food Service Supervisor

Type: Permanent Full Time

Wage: $21 per hour

Hour of Work: 40 hours per week 

Work Location: 9055 University High St #109, Burnaby, BC V5A 0A7

Job Descriptions:

• Oversee servers in the restaurant to ensure optimal appearance and exceptional customers care, watchful of customers' need for service.
• Establish work schedules.
• Participate in staff hiring.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Develop positive relationships with customers and when necessary, handle customer complaints and concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Supervise delivery or takeout orders and ensure the speed of serving.
• Assist in maintaining supplies inventory and ordering food ingredients.
• Assist in developing/improving procedures, menus, cost control and budgets.

Qualification:

- A college diploma in food service administration or related discipline is required.

- At least 2 years of experience in food service is required.

- 1 year of supervisory experience in food service is an asset.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
