Responsibilities
Tasks
- Oversee administrative procedures related to logistics operations and identify improvements to streamline workflow.
- Set work priorities, assign tasks to office support staff, and ensure timely completion of dispatch and logistics schedules.
- Coordinate office services, including vehicle accommodations, maintenance scheduling, and supply management.
- Assist in preparing the operational budget, tracking expenses, and maintaining budget controls for fleet and facility resources.
- Manage information policies and ensure compliance with transportation regulations and privacy laws.
- Conduct analyses and oversee budgeting and contracting for transportation-related projects and planning.
- Prepare and organize reports on transportation performance metrics, inventory, and operational data for management.
- Supervise records management, ensuring that shipment records, driver logs, and compliance documents are accurately maintained.
- Oversee transportation-specific documentation, including shipment tracking, routing, and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate and improve administrative operations to support the efficiency and objectives of transportation services.
