Job Summary

We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented Product Lead to join our team at DISA Global Solutions. Based in our Ontario office at 1245 California Ave, Brockville, this full-time, permanent role offers a unique opportunity to lead product innovation, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to DISA's growth in workforce compliance and safety solutions. As Product Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic product roadmaps, conducting market and competitive analysis, and collaborating across departments to optimize product offerings. This role requires a forward-thinking professional with a strong background in regulatory compliance, process improvement, and quality assurance. Responsibilities

 

Product Strategy and Roadmap Development

  • Lead the formulation and execution of product strategies and roadmaps that support DISA's objectives in areas like background screening, drug and alcohol testing, and compliance solutions.
  • Continuously assess market needs, customer feedback, and industry trends to ensure the product portfolio is positioned competitively and meets evolving regulatory requirements.

 

Market Research and Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct detailed market research to identify emerging industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes, informing product enhancements and new opportunities.
  • Translate insights from research into actionable recommendations for product innovation and positioning within DISA’s target markets.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, human resources, compliance, records management, security, and communications, to drive product improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Engage closely with clients, industry experts, and key stakeholders to gather insights, refine requirements, and ensure the product’s value proposition aligns with customer needs.

 

Quality Assurance and Compliance Management

  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality management and quality assurance protocols to meet ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and internal benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure that all products meet legal and regulatory requirements, preparing necessary documentation, filings, and submissions as needed.

 

Regulatory Guidance and Policy Development

  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory policies and procedures, ensuring the product’s internal and external compliance across diverse markets and jurisdictions.
  • Design and oversee the preparation of product documentation for regulatory bodies, ensuring seamless adherence to standards in client submissions.

 

Product Performance Evaluation and Process Improvement

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate product effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment with business goals.
  • Propose and implement improvements to product processes, systems, and methodologies in areas such as operations, quality control, data management, and security.

 

Operational Reorganization and Optimization

  • Lead strategic initiatives to reorganize and streamline product operations, reducing costs, improving speed-to-market, and enhancing service delivery.
  • Establish KPIs and benchmarks for operational success, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize overall product effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

 

Team Leadership and Development

  • Supervise, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team, including researchers, analysts, and clerical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Build a high-performance team, identifying skill gaps, providing training, and setting clear goals to support career growth and achieve product objectives.

 

Customer Experience and Product Support

  • Oversee customer support functions related to the product, ensuring that client queries and issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Work closely with customer success teams to develop resources, training materials, and support structures that enhance user experience and satisfaction.

 

Reporting and Data Analysis

  • Develop and present reports on product performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to measure product impact and identify areas for continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in another field and several years of relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Proven experience in product management, compliance, or a similar role. Experience in employee screening, workforce compliance, or technology is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to research markets, assess trends, and create product strategies.
  • Project management expertise with experience leading projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with teams, clients, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards, especially in employee screening and workforce safety.
  • Experience in quality assurance and process improvement, with an understanding of ISO standards.
  • Vendor management skills with a track record in building partnerships and optimizing costs.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, focused on improving processes and efficiency.
  • Experience in developing marketing and promotional strategies to drive product growth.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a collaborative mindset and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and e-commerce management is a plus.

 

Compensation

$90,000.00 - $95,000.00 CAD per annum
