Han’s family is looking for a full time caring, loving, and responsible and a patient caregiver for their child who is 13 year old; he is an especially able kid with Autism. The caregiver will be working at their residence located in Surrey, BC, V2S 3J2

Job Designation: Autism support worker

Language Preference: English

Education: Completion of Secondary (High) School or equivalent. Course in Child Care will be an asset.
Work Setting: Employer’s Home

Wage:  C$24.00/ hr

Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year

Location: Surrey, BC, V2S 3J2

Job duties

• Closely supervise the child in the absence of the parents in the home of the employer.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of child and support his social development.
• Ensure to take full responsibility of the home in the absence of the parents.
• Clean the room of the child and do laundry as per the instructions of the employer.
• Bringing child from school, assisting him in studies and helping him in day to day activities
• All the time maintaining a clean and healthy environment at home. Teaching kids personal Hygiene.
• Escorting them to doctor during appointments. And keeping medicine record.
• Giving prescribed medicines on time to child.
• Keeping hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the house.
• Help child in develop communication and improve on language skills
• May need to perform light housekeeping duties and may have to lift.
• Assist in therapy sessions.

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals to the child as per the instruction of the children

WAGES & BENEFITS:

• Full time and permanent position, works 40 hrs. per week
• Vacation pay of 4% of wages per year or 10 days paid vacation.
