Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work site environment: Confined spaces
Work setting: Kennel, Pet grooming shop
Responsibilities:
Tasks:
- Prepare food and feed animals
- Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall, and enclosures
- Keep records of animals treated
- Supervise helpers
- Maintain and order supplies
- Monitor and document animal behaviors
Experience and specialization:
Type of pets groomed: All breeds of dogs.
Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)
Additional information:
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, and Standing for extended periods.
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs.)
