Wage: $25.75 - $28.50/Hour (Depending on Experience)

No of Positions: 1

Work Location: Various locations across lower mainland.

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Build foundations, install floor beam, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and other buildings
• May prepare cost estimates for clients.
• Supervise apprentices and other construction workers

Skills Requirements

Education: Completion of Secondary school is required

Experience:

Completion of a minimum of 3-year apprenticeship program

OR

Minimum3 or more years of work experience in the relevant field is required

Language: English

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Overtime required, Handling heavy loads, Willing to travel, Work at heights, Confined spaces, Noisy, Dusty
