JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking to employ an energetic and enthusiastic Human Resources Administrator for our growing company, Trail Appliance. In this integral role, you will support various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Your contributions will help ensure we attract and retain a talented workforce while fostering a positive work environment. Strong organizational and communication skills, along with a proactive attitude, are essential for success in this position.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Prepare and maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training sessions.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration and respond to inquiries regarding benefits and payroll.
- Maintain and update the HR information system, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including organizing training sessions and team-building activities.
- Manage communication related to employee relations issues and assist in conflict resolution.
- Compile data and generate reports related to HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
- Help organize employee performance reviews and track progress against goals.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Generate internal communications to support business objectives and increase awareness of Trail’s mission and values.
- Collaborate with other departments and subject matter experts to ensure complex information is presented clearly and relatable for various audiences (primarily employees and candidates).
- Research, draft, and finalize high-quality corporate communication materials, including intranet articles, email communications, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, and infographics.
- Review, proofread, and edit existing materials to ensure consistency of messaging.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for human resources administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience is an asset.
- 1-2 years of related experience is required.
- Ability to communicate in English

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent Full-time, Long-term.
WAGES: $26.44/Hour
HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week
OVERTIME: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations.
BENEFITS PACKAGE:
- Insurance from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board covered by employer.
- Vacation pay as per provincial regulations will be paid each payday on a semi-monthly basis.
