General Job Duties
Prepare construction project schedules and reports
Supervise or conduct inspections or technical investigations of buildings and structures to provide data for decision purposes
Conduct or supervise inspection and testing of construction materials
Assisting in supervising, monitoring and inspecting construction projects.
Salary: $28-30/hour depending on experience
Education
Completion of a two- or three-year college program in civil engineering technology or a closely related discipline
Trade certification:
This is a regulated occupation in Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will work under supervision until he/she becomes eligible for certification.

At least 1 year of proven experience

Must be able to obtain police clearances
