Responsibilities
- Plan, direct and evaluate the sales operations.
- Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and new products while keeping an eye out for competitors.
- Assess customer preferences and demands to efficiently direct sales efforts.
- Develop marketing and sales strategies, set goals, and work with the team to achieve them.
- Manage key financial metrics such as sales revenue, margin growth and profitability.
- Determine and implement price and credit policies.
- Resolve customer complaints and rectify issues to provide highest level of satisfaction.
- Assist with the hiring, training, and development of team members and their performance management.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain a positive relationship with customers, suppliers, and the local community.
Requirements
- Completion of Secondary School.
- Demonstrated and relevant supervisory, leadership and managerial experience.
- Education in business or a related field would be an asset.
- Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve common goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about growing sales and running an efficient and profitable operation.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, delegate, and follow up on team's activities.
- Ability to find solutions to problems and make decisions.
- Ability to multitask, adapt and cope with challenging situations.
