Location: Mississauga, ON L5B 1M5/ Remote work available

Salary: $48.00 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

Job Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to implement software solutions based on project requirements.
• Deploy software, monitor its performance, and provide ongoing maintenance and support.
• Specializes in creating the user interface and user experience of web applications using technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Skilled in both front-end and back-end development, capable of building entire web applications.
• Designs and develops applications for mobile devices.
• Program and code animation software as per the specifications for internet and mobile applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions to fulfill the customer's requirements.
• Collaborate on projects with an all-development teams comprised of varying skill sets through code reviews and design discussions.
• Maintain and update existing software systems, ensuring they continue to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide constructive feedback during code reviews to ensure coding standards, quality, and best practices are maintained.

 Eligibility Requirements:

• A CEGEP/ college degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to the job role (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, etc.).
• Typically requires 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex software challenges.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, convey technical concepts, and understand project requirements.
• Skills like teamwork, adaptability, and a willingness to learn are often valued by employers.
