Salary: $28.75 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Measure kitchen spaces accurately to ensure proper cabinet fit, allowing for optimal functionality and aesthetics in the overall design of the kitchen.
- Read and interpret blueprints and design plans to determine cabinet layouts, ensuring compliance with client specifications and maximizing available kitchen space effectively.
- Install kitchen cabinets securely, using appropriate hardware and techniques to ensure stability, durability, and alignment with the design aesthetic of the kitchen.
- Level and adjust cabinets during installation, ensuring even surfaces and proper alignment with countertops and other kitchen fixtures for a polished finish.
- Collaborate with clients and contractors to discuss design preferences and installation requirements, ensuring clear communication throughout the installation process for satisfaction.
- Cut and trim cabinet components as needed, utilizing hand and power tools to achieve precise dimensions that fit the unique kitchen layout.
- Repair and refurbish existing cabinets, addressing damage or wear to restore functionality and appearance, enhancing the kitchen’s overall aesthetic and usability.
- Install cabinet hardware, such as knobs and handles, ensuring proper placement for ease of use and alignment with the overall kitchen design.
- Clean and organize work areas during installations, maintaining a safe environment and ensuring efficient workflow to meet project timelines effectively.
- Document completed work accurately, preparing invoices and reports that reflect services rendered and materials used for clear communication with clients.
Eligibility Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in installing kitchen cupboards and vanities in residential or commercial environments is preferred.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy cabinets and materials, and to work in various positions during installations.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, balancing multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards throughout installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address installation challenges promptly, ensuring projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings to accurately determine installation specifications and layout requirements for cabinetry.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively for precise cutting, measuring, and assembling cabinet components.
- Willingness to continuously learn new techniques and industry trends to improve installation practices and enhance customer satisfaction.
