Position/Job Title: Tattoo Artist (NOC 63211)

Description: Tattoo Artist provides facial and body treatments designed to enhance an individual’s physical appearance.

Job Location: Surrey, BC

Education: Completion of high school is required, beauty school programs for cosmeticians, estheticians or on-the-job training is provided.

Experience: An asset

Number of openings: 3

Position: Permanent - Full Time

Wage: $18.50/hr.

Language: English is required.

Job Duties:

Clean and sterilize tattoo equipment and work areas.

Consult with and advise clients with respect to size, color, design, and placement of body art.

Use of Henna and other pigment chemical dyes that are not permanent on client’s skin for a temporary tattoo.

Use a demographer to permanently pigment the client’s skin with chemical dyes.

Maintain health and safety procedures; and apply temporary designs to client’s skin.

Removal of tattoos and temporary non-permanent tattoos.
