Position/Job Title: Cook (NOC 63200)

Description: Cooks prepare and cook a wide variety of foods in restaurants, hotels, and other establishments.

Job Location: Brampton, ON

Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Position: Permanent - Full Time

Number of Openings: 1

Wage: $30/hr

Language: Not required.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and special meals according to customer preferences.
• Specialize in preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes such as curry/ tandoori items.
• Maintain and monitor inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions as well as estimate food requirements and costs.
• Clean kitchen, work areas and oversee kitchen operations.
• Train and supervise kitchen helper.
