Educational and work experience requirements: At least a completed Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles. Proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Responsibilities
l Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support the company’s operational goal.
l Ensure accurate and timely accounts payable and receivable, including handling patient billing, insurance claims, and payments from various healthcare-related transactions.
l Manage payroll for healthcare staff, including clinicians and administrative personnel, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, benefits, and deductions in compliance with Canadian employment standards.
l Monitor and report on expenses related to healthcare operations, including equipment, supplies, and patient care costs, ensuring they align with the company’s budget.
l Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
l Collaborate with senior management to analyze financial data and support strategic planning.
l Assist in preparing tax filings and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
l Provide financial insights to help guide company growth and decision-making.
l Support audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.
