Position/Job Title: Construction worker (NOC 75110)

Description: Construction workers assist skilled tradespersons and perform laboring activities at construction sites.

Job Location: Surrey, BC

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience: An asset.

Number of openings: 3

Position: Permanent - Full Time

Wage: $23/hr.

Language: Not required.

Job Duties:

• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades required at construction sites.
• Assist tradespersons, heavy equipment operators and signal operators in drilling, blasting rock, aligning pipes on construction sites and perform related activities.
• Mix, pour, removing construction materials and level earth to fine grade specifications as well as remove rubble and debris using rake, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
• Assist in demolishing buildings and feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
