Position/Job Title: Plumber Helper (NOC 75110)

Description: Plumber helper assists skilled tradespersons and perform plumbing activities at various sites.

Job Location: Surrey, BC

Education: Completion of secondary school.

Experience: Not required. Will train.

Number of openings: 2

Position: Permanent - Full Time

Wage: $23/hr.

Language: Not required.

Job Duties:

• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
• Assist tradesperson such as Plumber in construction activities.
• Assist in aligning pipes and perform related activities during oil and gas pipeline construction.
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment in other activities.
• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
• Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
