ABOUT THE ROLE

The Restaurant Manager – Pizza Store will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pizza store, ensuring that our customer receive the best services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent leadership skills and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, safety and cleanliness. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.

 

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The Company is a food and beverage business registered as 1382935 BC Ltd. since October 2022 in the province of British Columbia. However, the business is working under a franchise license with Panago Pizza and doing business as Panago Pizza. The primary business activity involves Pizza baking, offering special pizza options such as thin-crust, regular & and multi-grain pies with a wide selection of toppings. Our Company is a dynamic and customer focused store known for serving high quality, delicious pizza in a fast-paced environment.  In addition to serving pizza, the Company also serves salads, desserts, and beverages. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Vacancies: 1

Language: Proficiency in English (required); knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Work experience:

A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a similar position is required.

Wages: $29.00/hour

Additional benefits:

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • 30 hours per week

Job duties and required skills:

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the store and make final decisions on matters of importance.
  • Hire, train, and manage staff, including scheduling, performance management, and payroll.
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
  • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with store policies and procedures.
  • Make employment and termination decisions consistent with General Manager guidelines for approval or review.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to implement promotions, campaigns, and events.
  • Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service.
  • Monitor food and labor costs to ensure profitability.

Qualifications:

•      Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role.

•      Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.

•      Acute financial management skills.

•      In-depth knowledge of the food industry.

•      Excellent customer service skills.

•      Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.

•      Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software.

•      Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

•      A degree/diploma/certificate in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus.
