About Position:

Location: Brampton, ON L6V 4K2

Workplace Information: On-site
Salary: $33.65 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Schedule: Day, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Night, Weekend
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail staff, including customer service representatives and sales associates.
  • Oversee daily operations of shipping, packaging, and mailbox services to ensure smooth workflow and a high level of customer service.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate employees in UPS Store services such as shipping logistics, print production, and mailbox management to maintain store performance.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to shipping options, tracking packages, and resolving delivery issues; ensure customer satisfaction with a wide range of services, including custom print solutions and document finishing.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies for packaging materials, shipping supplies, and maintaining stock levels for the store’s printing and copying services.
  • Monitor sales of shipping services, print services, and retail products, implementing strategies to meet sales targets and improve store performance.
  • Ensure the store is properly maintained, including cleanliness, organization of shipping supplies, mailboxes, and product displays.
  • Assist with daily financial transactions, including cash handling, reconciling sales, and preparing reports for shipping services, print jobs, and retail sales.
  • Support the management team with scheduling, payroll, and other administrative duties to ensure efficient staffing and store operations.
  • Ensure compliance with UPS Store policies, health and safety regulations, and maintain the highest standards of customer service.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • High School Grade 12.
  • Software Knowledge:
    • Google Drive and OneDrive
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience:
    • Proven 1 year experience in a retail store supervisor role or more than 3 years experience as a retail salesperson
  • Skills:
    • Strong creativity and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
