CNC (computer numerical control) machinist

Location: 5250 Satellite Drive, suite 38, Mississauga, ON L4W 5G5, Canada
Workplace information: On site
Salary: $29.00 to $31.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per Week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment/ Full time
Work Conditions: Day, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Overtime, Shift, To be determined, Weekend
Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
- Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
- Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools
