Job Description

Located in Vancouver/BC, 2 Guys with Knives is currently looking for a logistics supervisor to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor delivery times and transport costs
• Plan vehicle routes, dispatching crews
• Evaluate quality of logistics processes and planning improvements
• Manage staff and plan staff routes in line with changing needs
• Hire and train staff
• Implement health and safety processes
• Liaise with other departments such as manufacturing, marketing, sales and accounts
• Develop new business contacts
• Monitor factors like fuel costs, environmental impact and legislation and optimising logistics processes accordingly
• Set and manage objectives, goals and projects

Required Education & Experience;

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory position
• Completion of a 2-year diploma in a related field;

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills;
• Advanced English language knowledge;
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively
• Self-disciplined, eager to learn, and have a passion for the food and service industry

Pay Rate/ Salary:  $31.5 per hour
