Job Title: Tilesetter (Full Time)
Work Location Address: 238 Knott Drive, London, Ontario, N6L 0G6, Canada
It is a construction and renovation company. We get contracts for commercial and residential properties. We are doing floor, washroom, Concrete work, door-window, and other related works. The duties are including -
1. Laying and setting tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs
2. Cutting and fitting tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
3. Preparing, measuring and marking surfaces to be covered
4. Mixing, applying and spreading cement, glue or other adhesives using hand tools
5. Aligning and straightening tiles using levels and squares
6. Applying plaster between tiles and removing excess plaster
7. Cutting, polishing and installing marble and granite
8. Removing and replacing cracked or damaged tiles
9. Preparing cost estimates and orders
