We are currently searching for an experienced Architectural technologist. This position is critical to the daily operations of our business. The major responsibilities of this position include:
- Create three-dimensional (-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD and REVIT
- Create two-dimensional (-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD) and REVIT
- Prepare Request for Information proposals
- Prepare meeting minutes
- Analyze technical documents and reports
- Review Architectural contracts
- Review and Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Interior Design Drawings
- Assist in supervising construction projects
- Prepare design, tender, and working drawings
- Supervise junior architectural technical staff
- Review Architectural specifications
- Conduct architectural field reviews with Senior Designers and Architects
- Construct architectural presentation material boards
- Assist in design development and construction drawings and documents
- Prepare presentation graphics, 3d renderings, and drawings
- Answering phones
- Creating transmittal and filing project documents
- Creating and coordinating project correspondence
- Assisting with Website Coordination and Office Promotion
- Setting up FTP project sites
- Code Review and By-law Review
You will be required to train staff.
Architectural specialization or relative experience in:
- Commercial construction
- Industrial construction
- Institutional construction
- Interior and space planning
- Renovation
- Residential construction
Area of work experience
- Architectural Design
- Consultant Coordination for mechanical, electrical, structural, interior design.
Computer and technology knowledge:
- Adobe Photoshop
- AutoCAD
- Autodesk REVIST
- MS Excel
- MS Outlook
- MS PowerPoint
- MS Word
Requirements:
- 2 years of work experience
- Completion of a two- to three-year college program in engineering design and drafting technology or in a related field
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
Terms of employment:
Permanent Full time with 37.50 hours per week
Hours of work:
From Monday to Friday (Onsite)
From 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Salary:
From $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 annually
