Job Description

We are looking for a Kitchen Helper/Assistant to work alongside our culinary team at TGS & Company - Homemade Goodness, to deliver top-quality customer service to our customers.

Wage: $18/hour

Hours: 09:00-17:00 (40 hours a week)

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

• Washing dishes, counters, tables, cupboards and appliances
• Washing and preparing meal ingredients such as vegetables and fruit etc
• Removing trash and cleaning kitchen garbage containers and disposal
• Unpacking and stocking supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas
• Refilling condiments and/or other supplies at tables
• Sweeping, mopping and maintaining daily cleanliness of the kitchen
• Placing and packing takeout orders for customers with ensured accuracy

Education, Skills and Qualifications:

 This is an entry level position, however we still require candidates to obtain a certain level of qualifications and standards in order to serve our customers, and to provide the utmost professional experience. Candidates must have the following:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Efficient multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
• Ability to use common kitchen equipment and appliances safely
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
