Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Computer Systems Manager to join our team at Eyaana Inc. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing our IT systems, ensuring they are optimized for pharmaceutical data management, clinical trials, and regulatory compliance. This position requires on-site work at our facility; remote work is not available.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required

Experience:

• At least 7 years of experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities:

Tasks:

• Oversee co-ordinate and review projects and programs, compliance, and data integrity.
• Manage and enhance IT systems for clinical data management and regulatory compliance.
• Develop IT policies to protect clinical and pharmaceutical data.
• Act as the IT point of contact for pharmaceutical clients.
• Recruit, train, and lead IT professionals with clinical and pharmaceutical expertise.
• Manage IT projects related to clinical and pharmaceutical objectives.
• Develop and oversee the IT department’s budget.
• Help in developing booking system for pharmaceutical company & Data Management.

Supervision:

• May have to manage and supervise a team of 3-4 IT professionals.

Experience and Specialization:

• Strong knowledge in computer and technology fields related to pharmaceutical data management.
• Proficiency in data analysis, and interpretation specific to clinical and research data.
• Expertise in desktop applications, networking security, and networking software relevant to pharmaceutical operations.
• Experience in web service design and computer-assisted records management systems for clinical and regulatory compliance.
• Adept in information management systems used in the pharmaceutical industry.

Area of Work Experience:

• Management within the pharmaceutical or clinical research sectors
• Clinical report writing and data management

Specialization:

• Knowledge of Electronic Data Processing (EDP) and Good Practices (GDP)
• Understanding of Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Food and Drug Act, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
