The Beehive Hair Lounge located in Vancouver, B.C., is seeking a creative Hairstylist to join our busy salon. We offer a positive working environment and are located in a great neighborhood!

Salary: $18.50 per hour plus 10% commission on services performed

Benefits: Eligible for extended medical coverage

Working hours:  30 hours per week

Your duties will include the following:

• Analyze hair and scalp condition
• Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
• Shampoo client’s hair
• Provide scalp conditioning massages
• Provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening and colouring
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour or highlight hair
• Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences
• Perform receptionist duties
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations

Employment Requirements:

• High school graduation
• At least 2 years related work experience
