Location: North York, ON, M2N 7E9
Salary: $38.15 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Address work issues, offer technical guidance, and suggest improvements to boost productivity and ensure high product quality
- Monitor work quality to ensure it meets construction codes, regulations, and client specifications.
- Calculate expenses and determine material requirements for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
- Develop and submit competitive bids for projects, detailing costs, timelines, and specifications to secure contracts.
- Create detailed reports on production and other relevant activities to track performance and inform decision-making.
- Organize and schedule project activities to ensure timely completion and efficient workflow.
- Align work tasks with other supervisors or managers to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve project timelines and maintain work schedules.
- Oversee workers and manage projects to ensure effective execution, adherence to standards, and achievement of objectives.
- Enforce safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation certificate is the minimum educational requirement.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction, with progressively responsible roles in supervision or project management is preferred.
- Strong skills in planning, organizing, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve construction issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety standards on site.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for operating tools and equipment.
