Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize paperwork and other materials as needed for meetings, new hires and expense reports.
  • Maintain repair scheduling and event calendars
  • Compose, type, distribute daily reports and routine correspondences.
  • Collect and coordinate the flow of internal and external information
  • Manage office equipment and office space
  • Establish the administrative work procedures for tracking staff’s daily tasks
  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.
  • Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recorded information, updated paperwork, or maintain documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material.

 

Employment requirements

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience is required.
