Job Responsibilities

  • Washing, peeling, and cutting fruits, vegetables, and meats.
  • Cleaning worktables, cupboards, appliances, and floors in the kitchen area.
  • Clean kitchen garbage containers and remove the trash.
  • Supplying, storing, and organizing supplies, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Assist the cook and kitchen staff with various tasks, such as sweeping and mopping floors, and other duties as needed.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as measuring and weighing ingredients.
  • Operating kitchen equipment such as blenders, mixers, and food processors to assist with food preparation.
  • Setting up and organizing workstations to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Restocking items as needed based on inventory levels of supplies, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic at all times to ensure food safety.
  • Perform other restaurant related duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

  • Secondary school education would be an asset but not mandatory.
  • No experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
