Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company operates profitably by managing costs, optimizing pricing strategies, and maximizing profit margins for exported products.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and manage relationships to secure competitive pricing and advantageous terms for sourcing Chinese food products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for products.
  •  Develop and oversee the budget, covering expenses related to staffing, marketing, and operational activities. Ensure cost efficiency and financial control.
  • Work with the sales team to create and implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, product positioning, and promotional campaigns tailored for international markets.
  • Recruit, train, and inspire the sales team to boost performance. Emphasize employee retention, skill development, and high sales productivity for optimal results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key international clients, distributors, and partners. Address their needs, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging markets, and best practices by attending relevant workshops, reviewing publications, and engaging in industry networks.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management. Include key performance indicators, progress towards targets, and strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Establishes business plan by surveying demand; conferring with people in the community; identifying and evaluating competitors; preparing financial, marketing, and sales projections, analyses, and estimates.

 Eligibility Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant work experience in sales and sales management is essential, ranging from 5 years or more.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in sales is crucial for this job. This includes a strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth is highly desirable.
  • One should have strong leadership abilities and the capacity to manage and motivate a sales team effectively. 
  • The role involves developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives, which includes analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and making informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with internal teams, senior management, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and productive collaboration.

 Location: St. Catharine’s, ON L2R 5W1 (Remote work available)

Salary: $50.25 per hour for 30 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
