Location: Brampton, ON, L6W 1X9 (Remote work available)
Salary: $29.15 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and organize transportation logistics to ensure efficient routing, scheduling, and resource management for smooth operations within the company.
- Gather and process transportation orders and instructions from clients, ensuring they are accurately recorded and acted upon for timely service delivery.
- Adjust and confirm the types and quantities of materials needed for transport operations, including vehicles and equipment, to ensure readiness.
- Monitor and finalize transportation work orders, ensuring that each task, from dispatch to delivery, is completed as scheduled and efficiently.
- Work with various departments to coordinate transportation activities, ensuring alignment and effective communication across the organization for optimal operations.
- Create and submit detailed reports on transportation activities, including performance metrics, operational status, and any issues encountered.
- Schedule and manage maintenance and repair tasks for transportation vehicles and equipment, ensuring they remain in excellent working condition.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of all transportation activities, including vehicle usage, driver performance, and maintenance history.
- Resolve transportation-related issues, provide technical support, and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Oversee, assign, and evaluate transportation tasks to ensure they are executed efficiently and meet company standards and client expectations.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of transportation logistics, from planning and organization to execution, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A College or CEGEP level education in similar or equivalent field.
- 1 year to less than 2 years in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle complex schedules.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements, including safety standards and legal guidelines.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations, such as unexpected delays or route changes.
- Precision in handling dispatch records, ensuring accurate scheduling, and compliance with regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
