Location: Burlington, ON, L7L 6W6 (Remote work available)
Salary: $62.50 hourly / 30 hours per Week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to adapt strategies, identify opportunities, and stay competitive in the catering industry.
- Create and execute a sales strategy that targets the African cuisine catering market, focusing on customer needs and industry trends.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate events, private parties, and special occasions.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, event planners, and industry professionals.
- Enhance the brand’s presence through social media, events, and advertising.
- Design and manage marketing campaigns to boost visibility for catering services, leveraging social media, local events, and targeted advertising to attract and engage potential clients.
- Generate financial reports and sales forecasts to provide senior management with insights into performance, trends, and future revenue projections.
- Oversee the operations team to ensure smooth execution of catering events.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Track industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge and ensure the organization remains relevant and effective.
- Establish and oversee sales targets and budgets to drive performance, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in sales or management, preferably within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Proven experience in leading and developing a sales team, driving performance, and fostering growth to achieve sales objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Experience in managing sales budgets and financial forecasting.
- Knowledge of current market trends and customer preferences in the catering industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, essential for addressing challenges and making informed choices to drive business success.
