Job Title: Operations Supervisor (Full-time permanent position)

Education:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business/commerce

Work experience an asset in:

• Automotive tires, wheels, and rims wholesale establishment/distribution centre; and
• Operation management, including inventory management, warehouse management, staff supervision, and logistics optimization

Work Location:

• 2220 Midland Ave #68AP, Scarborough, Ontario, M1P 3E6

Duties:

• Coordinate, assign, and oversee the activities of staff engaged in various operation tasks, including record keeping, data entry, and functions essential to efficient operations of the company;
• Develop and maintain work schedules and procedures, collaborating with different departments to ensure seamless coordination and productivity across all units;
• Address and resolve work-related challenges promptly, while also compiling and submitting progress reports to management as necessary;
• Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company policies to promote a safe and compliant work environment;
• Manage inventory of supplies and materials by accurately requisitioning and monitoring stock levels to support uninterrupted operations of the company;
• Ensure the proper functioning of office equipment and machinery, coordinating maintenance and repair activities as needed to minimize disruptions;
• Stay informed about market price fluctuations, documenting and reporting findings to inform decision-making processes;
• Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and retention;
• Familiar with Odoo, our warehouse software, to oversee its web platform for product browsing and internal operations, including inventory, account, and financial management; ensuring precise inventory updates and facilitate effective communication between customers and warehouse staff.

Remuneration:  Annual salary $49,920, payable monthly (normal working hours: 30 hours per week)
