Position: Hairstylist apprentice

Location: 7104 Goreway Drive, Mississauga ON L4T 2T6

Salary: 17.00 hourly / 30 to 35 hours per Week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time

Shift: Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend

Start date: as soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio

Responsibilities:

Tasks

• Analyze hair and scalp condition
• Provide custom hair and scalp treatment
• Shampoo customers' hair
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to color, frost or streak hair
• Apply hair extensions
• Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
• Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences
• Maintain and order supplies
