Job Description

Wage:  $28.39 per hour (full-time position; 35 hours per week)

 Location of Work:  1030 Dundas St. E., Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B8

Job Description:

• cut, weigh, wrap/package and label meat, meat products, poultry for sale to customers
• inspect the quality of meat, expiry dates and ensure proper product rotation
• ensure the maintenance of equipment, displays and work area
• receive and store merchandise in accordance with established standards
• must comply with government health and safety standards and occupational health and safety standards

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Portuguese Supermarket (meat department)
• Client focused and team player
• Passion for people and service excellence
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a cold/refrigerated area
