Job Description

Wage:  $35.00 per hour (full-time permanent position; 40 hours per week)

Location of Work:  Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario

Job Description:

ﾃでｸ  Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

ﾃでｸ  Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

ﾃでｸ  Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware

ﾃでｸ  Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures

ﾃでｸ  Read and interpret drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

ﾃでｸ  Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.

Job Requirements:  Minimum 3 years of experience in carpentry work
