Job Advertisement: Housekeeper for the Maha Hasnain Household

Position: Housekeeper

Location: Maha Hasnain Household 49 Avenue SW/21 Street SW, Altadore, Calgary AB

NO. OF POSITIONS: 1

Main Duties:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Housekeeper to perform some or all of
the following duties at our family home:
● Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes, and making
beds.
● Perform housekeeping and other home management duties under the general
direction of the employer.
● Plan and prepare meals independently or with the employer, and may serve meals.
● Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
● Sweep, mop, wash, floors, Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs,
draperies and upholstered furniture
● Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, drapers and upholstered
furniture
● Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures an appliance
Employment Requirements:
● Secondary school education is a strong asset.
● Home management experience is a strong asset.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
● Standing for extended periods.
● Capable of lifting/pushing heavy objects weighing over 40 lbs.
● Work under pressure.
● Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending.
● Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Additional Skills and Requirements:
● Attention to detail for thorough cleaning
● Strong time management skills
● Organizational skills for managing supplies
● Knowledge of cleaning products
● Effective communication
