Location: Mississauga, ON L5E 2N6
Salary: $28.50 per hour for 35 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the sales team, including training, scheduling, and managing their performance to ensure efficient and effective customer service.
- Meet financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Set sales goals and targets for the retail section, motivating the team to achieve or exceed them.
- Oversee the daily operations of the store by managing schedules, overseeing inventory and stock, and ensuring that all safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of store performance, sales, and customer service.
- Develop and implement retail policies and procedures to ensure a positive and productive environment.
- Train, evaluate, and coach staff to reach sales and customer service goals.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor retail sales performance and suggest strategies for improvement.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A college diploma or CEGEP or equivalent is usually the minimum requirement
- 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, retail, or customer service roles is required.
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Able to analyze retail sales performance and develop strategies for improvement
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office and POS systems
