JOB DESCRIPTION:

Harvey’s, located at 1141 Division Street, Kingston, Ontario is recruiting for the position of FULL TIME Shift Manager.  If you are currently working on developing a career in the Food and Hospitality Industry, come work at Harvey's and get paid for building a great future.

JOB DUTIES:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff.
• Requisition ingredients & supplies based on set par levels.
• Ensure that food and service meet company standards.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Maintain records of sales, stocks, wastage, breakage & repairs.
• Train staff in job duties, health, hygiene & safety standards.
• Ensure kitchen staff adheres to recipes & portion sizes to meet the brand standards.
• Assist managers in preparing weekly staff schedules.
• Ensure health, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.
• Increase the profits by minimizing wastage & cost control.
• Provide excellent customer service & resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
• Prepare & serve food as needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 6-months or more
• Education: High School

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

• Wages: $17.50/hour
• 35-45 hours/week
