Position Summary:

Blessed Generation Academy Inc. is looking for 1 Early Childhood Educator to join its team. 

Job Details: 

Location: 501 Fourth Avenue, New Westminster, BC V3L 1P3

Salary: $21.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent Employment, Full Time

Employment Conditions: Day, Evening, Morning 

Employment Requirement: Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English 

Education: College / CEGEP

Experience: Experience an asset

Responsibilities:

Tasks: 

• Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children 

• Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest

• Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity 

• Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits 

• Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor

• Discuss progress or problems of children at staff meetings  

• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children 

Credentials: 

Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate
