Location: 105 Adelaide Street West, Toronto, ON M5H 1P9
Salary: $22.00 per hour/37.5 hours - full-time position
Job Description:
- Overall management of the restaurant.
- Plan, organize and control the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Overseas, recruits and recommends promotion or termination of staff.
- Handle training of staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Assign, oversee and evaluate work.
- Organize, complete and post staff work schedules.
- Supervise food preparation to ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Communicate changes of food preparations, formulas, standards, etc. to staff.
- Maintain inventory control systems and order supplies and food ingredients.
- Deal with suppliers, negotiate delivery arrangements.
- Support local and national marketing initiatives.
- Ensure that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed.
- Handle all customer service issues including resolving customer complaints, etc.
- Maintain business records, monitors revenues and performs daily closeout procedures on POS system.
Job Requirements:
- Previous restaurant management experience, minimum of 1-year.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as solid track record of delivering timely results.
- Driven and focused. Passion for people and service excellence.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and develop people.
- Working knowledge of POS systems.
- College diploma.
